BJU Bruins announce this year's roster for the men's intercollegiate basketball team.

Peter Anglea, web developer with the new media team at Bob Jones University, was named "Best of Conference" and "Best of Track" for his presentation at the 2013 Higher Education Web Professionals Association Conference in Buffalo, N.Y. Oct. 5-9. The conference offered 72 presentations across six different tracks.

Micah Gold, a freshman majoring in health, fitness and recreation at Bob Jones University, received National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-Tournament and All-Regional Honors at the NCCAA South Regional Golf Tournament at Smithfield Country Club in Easley, S.C. Oct. 14-15.

BJU recently named students to the Bob Jones University Symphony Orchestra, one of two orchestras at BJU. Membership in the top-tier orchestra is by audition only, open to all students in the University regardless of major program of study.

Zeier Fleming, a freshman majoring in Business Administration at Bob Jones University, led the BJU Bruins golf team to its first tournament victory in school history at the Hiwassee College Invitational Golf Tournament in Knoxville, Tenn. Sept. 20.

Amanda Freeman was recently named as a staff attorney for the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation. Freeman received her BS in Administrative Management from Bob Jones University in 2005. She graduated from the Regent University School of Law in 2009 and is a member of the Virginia State Bar. While at Regent, Freeman served as managing editor of the school's Law Review and studied abroad in Strasbourg, France.

Carol Abrams, a 1989 graduate of Bob Jones University, was named 2013-2014 Teacher of the Year for Wilson County Schools.

Bob Jones University names students to University Singers. The University Singers, also known as the "freshman choir" is the largest choral organization at BJU.

Matthew Ledbetter, a sophomore accounting major at Bob Jones University, has been selected as an intern for U.S. Senator Tim Scott's office in Greenville.
