Bob Jones University

Each year, the Alumni Relations Department, on behalf of the Alumni Association, forms a committee to choose the recipients of a grant called Alumni Child Tuition Aid. The grant is awarded to a current junior or senior who is a child of an alum in the Alumni Association.

The Bob Jones University Alumni Association recently named Anna DeMott and Jared Daulton as recipients of the annual Alumni Association Award.

Seven Bob Jones University graphic design students received awards from the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Greenville chapter at the annual AAF Gala Saturday, Feb. 29.

During the 2019 Commencement Awards Ceremony, the Bob Jones University Alumni Association named Claire Hudson and David Bell as recipients of the annual Alumni Child Award.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 9, 2018) - The Bob Jones University Alumni Association recently named Victoria Wiginton, a senior nursing major, of Greenville as a recipient of the annual Alumni Child Award. The BJU Alumni Association recognizes two seniors whose parents are members of the Alumni Association and who display those elements of spiritual leadership, involvement, scholarship, loyalty, and industry that should characterize alumni of Bob Jones University. The award consists of a Life Membership in the Association.

Several students at Bob Jones University were recently recognized as legacy students by the BJU Alumni Association.

Caroline Bishop, a December 2015 graduate of Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, was admitted to the master of professional accountancy program at Clemson University and hired as a tax staff accountant at Cherry Bekaert in Greenville, South Carolina.

Nathan Brayton, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, was accepted into the master's degree program in digital marketing and advertising at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Brayton will also be working as an IR/HR specialist at Flour Corporation in Greenville, South Carolina.

Catherine Turner, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, was accepted into the master's degree program in library and information science at the University of South Carolina.

Rebecca Gossage, a second year graduate student at Bob Jones University pursuing a Master of Arts degree in theatre arts, was admitted to the master of fine arts program at Mary Baldwin College and hired as an assistant to the artistic director at Overshadowed Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.

Ajay Solomon, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, was admitted into the master's degree program in molecular/cellular biology at Easter Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Paige Bagby, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Art degree in creative writing, was admitted into the master of fine arts in creative writing program at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania.

Catherine Monczewski, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in music education, was admitted into the master's degree program in music at North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Daniel Machado, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, was admitted into the Masters of Public Health program at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Machado, a resident of Greenville, was also accepted into Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia; Columbia University in New York, New York; George Washington University in the District of Columbia and Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Johnathan Brad Dickson, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in communication disorders, was accepted into the master's degree program of speech pathology at University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.

Wanda Bacher, a senior at Bob Jones University pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science, was admitted into the master's degree program in physical therapy at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia.

Jonathan Webber, a senior at Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science degree in music education, was admitted into the master's degree program in clarinet performance at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana.

Stephen Jones, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, was admitted into the master's degree program in automotive engineering at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Jones is a resident of Manakin Sabot.

Nicholas Robertson, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Keyboard Performance, was admitted into the master's degree program in piano performance at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Robertson is a resident of Bessemer.

Jeffrey Stayer, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in premed, was admitted to the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville in Greenville, South Carolina. Stayer is a resident of Oak Grove.

Scott Farley, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in premed, was accepted into medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville in Greenville, South Carolina.

Karen Girton, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in communication disorders, was admitted into the master's degree program in speech-language pathology at Gallaudet University in the District of Columbia.

Faith Worley, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice, was admitted into the Juris Doctor degree program at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.

Benjamin Case, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics, was admitted into the PhD program in mathematics at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and will be interning at the U.S. Naval Research Lab in Washington, D.C.

Timothy Buttram, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in humanities, was admitted into the master's degree program of communication at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina.

Jason Webber, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, was admitted into the master's degree program in counseling psychology at Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri. Webber is a resident of Blue Springs.

Ryan Tusing, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in keyboard performance, was admitted into the master's degree program in piano performance at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Robert Wilson, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in premed, was accepted into medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville in Greenville, South Carolina.
