Micah Rea, a junior business administration major at Bob Jones University, has been selected to represent the state of South Carolina at the 64th Annual National Prayer Breakfast with the President of the United States. The breakfast takes place February 4 in Washington D.C.

Hannah Tompkins, a senior special education major from Ararat, was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins in their Jan. 29 game against Allen University from Columbia, South Carolina.

Stewart "Blake" Counts, a senior sports management major at Bob Jones University, is serving as an intern for the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) in Greenville.

Joshua Strubel, a junior engineering major at Bob Jones University, has been selected as an intern for U.S. Senator Tim Scott's office in Greenville.

Bridgette Gleed, a junior health sciences major from Spartanburg, was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins in their Jan. 26 game against Warren Wilson College from Swannanoa, North Carolina.

The following students are among approximately 480 Bob Jones University students named to the President's List for high academic achievement during the Fall 2015 semester. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 3.75 or higher GPA.

A select number of Bob Jones University students will be listed in the 2016 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges." These students were honored for academic achievement, campus leadership, service to the community, and potential for continued success. Who's Who recipients are selected from students at more than 2,000 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and several foreign nations.
