Hannah Tompkins, a junior special education major from Ararat, was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins in their Jan. 15 game against Pensacola Christian College from Pensacola, Florida.

The following students are among approximately 890 Bob Jones University students named to the Dean's List for academic achievement during the Fall 2015 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.00-3.74 GPA.

Shawn Lipscomb, a freshman sports management major from Durham, was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins in their Jan. 7 game against Cincinnati Christian University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Julia Wright, a senior business administration major from Berryville, was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins in their Jan. 7 game against Trinity College in Trinity, Florida.

The following students are among approximately 480 Bob Jones University students named to the President's List for high academic achievement during the Fall 2015 semester. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 3.75 or higher GPA.

Kyle Turner, a senior accounting major from Alpharetta, was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins in their Dec. 19 game against University of Puerto Rico Humacao in the Puerto Rico Classic in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

Kendra Jeffcott, a senior accounting major from Taylors, was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins in their Dec. 12 home game against Mid-Atlantic Christian University from Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

A select number of Bob Jones University students will be listed in the 2016 edition of "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges." These students were honored for academic achievement, campus leadership, service to the community, and potential for continued success. Who's Who recipients are selected from students at more than 2,000 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and several foreign nations.

Dustin Killough, a freshman exercise science major from Lakeland, was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins in their Nov. 27 game against The Citadel.

Tessie Estrella, a senior sports management major from Waianae, was named an All-American by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).

Jenn Wise, a senior communications disorder major from Greenville, was named an All-American by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).

Miriam Lozano, a freshman graphic design major from Greenville, was named an All-American by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). Lozano was also named as the Most Valuable Player at the NCCAA national tournament.

A.J. Redlinger, a sophomore culinary arts major from Greer, was named by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) to the All-Region 2nd team honors for his efforts on the soccer field for the Bob Jones University Bruins.

Travis Woodham, a senior sports management major from Greenville, was named by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) to the all-tournament team for his performance during the regional playoffs.

Ryan McCarty, the Bruins team captain and a senior humanities major from Greenville, was named by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) to the all-tournament team for his performance during the regional playoffs.

Matt Moore, a senior nursing major from Greenville, was named by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) to the All-Region 1st team honors for his efforts on the soccer field for the Bob Jones University Bruins.
