The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has named three Bob Jones University Bruins basketball players to the Division II South All-Region team as well as naming Brandon Wilkins to the All-Freshman team. Seniors Kenney Garrick and Elijah Cupples were both named First Team All-Region with graduate student Hayes Brush was earning Second Team All-Region recognition.

Quintin Gillespie, a senior accounting major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with KPMG in Greenville, South Carolina. A resident of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Gillespie assists the finance department by providing audits and utilizing new technologies for KPMG clients. "BJU has helped me develop personally and academically which helped me get an internship with KPMG," said Gillespie. "This internship is a valuable experience because it plays a vital role in the next steps of my career in public accounting."

Several students were named to the Bob Jones University Bruins track and field team for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Bob Jones University recently sent four student leaders to attend the US Naval Academy Leadership Conference where they gained invaluable insights on peer leadership, organizational communication and personal development.

Boyoung Pyo, a senior public and global health major at Bob Jones University, is completing a virtual internship with Medical Missions Outreach in McDonough, Georgia. A resident of Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, Pyo investigates diseases in Nanyuki, Kenya, to make educational tools for the ministry team and patients in the Nanyuki community. "Through internships, the ability to work as a team increases," said Pyo. "It is valuable to have a chance to meet the employees in different positions. This internship experience practically develops my work skills."

Hallie Ritter, a senior business administration major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with Stokes & Company CPAs in Greenville, South Carolina. A resident of Robbins, North Carolina, Ritter manages accounting services, prepares 1099 forms and works with QuickBooks software. "I am very thankful and blessed for this opportunity to intern at Stokes & Company, CPAs," said Ritter. "I'm excited about the knowledge I've already gained and how I will continue to grow throughout this semester."

The Bob Jones University Bruins Baseball program recently announced the roster for the 2023-2024 season.

Tessa Leffew, a senior business administration major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with The Onyx Group in Greenville, South Carolina. A resident of Fishers, Indiana, Leffew works as a human resources intern reviewing resumes, organizing documents, answering questions and supporting the department. "It's a neat opportunity to be able to have an internship directly related to my future career, especially when it's with a faith-based company," said Leffew.

Christian Murray, a senior health sciences major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) in Greenville and Laurens counties. A resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Murray serves as the public liaison and personnel representative for various departmental operations. "I am filled with gratitude to be a part of DHEC," said Murray. "This internship will give me the skills and confidence to excel in the field of public health. The skills I learn from this experience will be beneficial as I pursue a master of public health from BJU in the future."

Janet Steen completed an MA in biblical counseling from Bob Jones University in December 2023.

The following students are among approximately 680 Bob Jones University students named to the President's List for high academic achievement during the Fall 2023 semester. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has named Bob Jones University Bruins men's basketball player, Eli Cupples, as the National Student-Athlete of the Week for Division II.

The following students are among approximately 800 Bob Jones University students named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2023 semester. The Dean's List recognizes students who earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average during the semester.

Junior Mario Figueroa was named 1st Team All-American and senior James McCarty was named 2nd Team All-American following their 2023 season.

Samantha Moore, a senior child development major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with East North Street Academy in Greenville, South Carolina.

Hannah Davis, a senior health sciences major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.

Seunghyeon Lee, a senior educational studies major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with the BJU International Team in Greenville.

JessieAnne Brunson, a senior public and global health major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with Bon Secours St. Francis in Greenville, South Carolina.

Madeline Chrysler, a junior child development major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship at East North Street Academy in Greenville, South Carolina.

Joshua Legnard, a senior sport management major at Bob Jones University, is completing an internship with 17 Co Performance Center in Taylors, South Carolina.

Several Bob Jones University students participated in the fall 2023 session of the South Carolina Student Legislature.

Earning academic recognition for the first time for the Bruins was Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major Matthias Baladi, Business Administration major Dallas Albert, Jake Provenzano who's studying Health Sciences, as well Miguel Giraldo, a Journalism and Mass Communications major.

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has named Bob Jones University Bruins women's volleyball outside hitter Victoria Glaze as the Division II National Player of the Year for the 2023 season.

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) released the list of the 2023 Scholar-Athletes for women's volleyball, with Bruins volleyball players Katelyn Landkrohn and Eden Swihart earning the honor. The recognition is given to student-athletes who maintain at least a 3.40 GPA and are a junior, senior or graduate student. This is the third time that Landkrohn and first time that Swihart has earned the academic honor.

Bob Jones University held an Air Force and Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) contracting ceremony, at 11 a.m. in Founder's Memorial Amphitorium on Friday, Nov. 10.
