Bob Jones University

Nearly 700 students graduated from Bob Jones University during the 89th commencement exercises recently held in Founder's Memorial Amphitorium on the Bob Jones University campus.

The following students are among approximately 470 Bob Jones University students named to the President's List for high academic achievement during the Spring 2016 semester. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.

Lindsay Beckett, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, was hired before graduation as a fifth grade teacher at Westwood Christian School in Miami, Florida

Jessica Perez, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, was hired as lead copywriter at Unicomm Media Group in Greenville, South Carolina.

Elizabeth Luttrell, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in exercise science, was hired as assistant to the director, field liason, and GSL field day director at Greenville Sports Leagues in Greenville, South Carolina.

Melissa Drinkwater, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education, was hired before graduation as a teacher at Centre County Christian Academy in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.

Corey Alcivar, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, was hired before graduation as an operations analyst at Lima One Capital in Greenville, South Carolina.

Lauren Gadingan, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science, was hired before graduation as a physical therapy aide for Rivertown Physical Therapy in Irvington, New York.

Nathan Babcock, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, was hired before graduation as a system administrator at Landscapers Supply in Greenville, South Carolina.

Hannah Rumpf, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, was hired before graduation as a 6th grade teacher at Morgantown Christian Academy in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Caroline Bishop, a December 2015 graduate of Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, was admitted to the master of professional accountancy program at Clemson University and hired as a tax staff accountant at Cherry Bekaert in Greenville, South Carolina.

Bob Jones University recently named student ambassadors for the 2016-2017 academic year.

Andrew Huish, a second year graduate student at Bob Jones University pursuing a Master of Music degree in church music, was hired before graduation as the music program director at Bible Baptist Christian School and choir director at Bible Baptist Church in Matthews, North Carolina.

Sara Osorio, a December 2015 graduate of Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish, was hired before graduation as a customer service agent at TD Bank in Greenville, South Carolina.

Zachary Crane, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, was hired before graduation as a lab technician at Solvay in Greenville, South Carolina.

Esther Kelly, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, was hired before graduation as a social media marketing coordinator for Polka Dot Impressions in Richmond, Texas.

Jessica Wentworth, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in English Education, was accepted into the master's degree program in English at BJU in Greenville, South Carolina.

Emily VanderKooi, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, was hired before graduation as a nurse in the oncology unit at Norton Women's and Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Benjamin Melton, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in cross-cultural service, was accepted into the master's degree program in biblical counseling at the BJU Seminary and School of Graduate Studies.

Joel Whited, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication, was hired before graduation as a social media coordinator at The Wilds Christian Camp in Brevard, North Carolina.

Caitlin Poarch, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, was hired before graduation as an emergency department float pool registered nurse at Grace Memorial Hospital in Morganton, North Carolina.

Andrew Rainer, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, was hired before graduation as a medical-surgical nurse at Bon Secours St. Francis Health System in Greenville, South Carolina.

Evangeline Aiello, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, was hired before graduation as a pulmonary medicine registered nurse at Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina.

Andrew Smiley, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian ministries, was hired before graduation as a traveling musician with Galkin Evangelistic Ministries in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Bridget Nee, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication, was hired before graduation as a staff writer for Marketing Communications at BJU in Greenville, South Carolina.

Abigail Turbeville, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior design, was hired before graduation as a manager at Time Again in Hillsdale, Michigan.

Audrey Martin, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, was hired before graduation as a marketing and community relations support specialist for The Blood Connection in Piedmont, South Carolina.

Karina Antonsen, a December 2015 graduate of Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications, was hired as a marketing executive at Impact Marketing Solutions in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Alyssa Midcalf, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics education, was hired before graduation as a math teacher at Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Florida.

Nathan Brayton, a senior at Bob Jones University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, was accepted into the master's degree program in digital marketing and advertising at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Brayton will also be working as an IR/HR specialist at Flour Corporation in Greenville, South Carolina.
