Bob Jones University

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) selected Bob Jones University Bruins golfer Micah Gold as the recipient of the Dan and Kelly Wood Award for 2016. The award is given to a male and female golf student-athlete who exemplify the NCCAA game plan for life traits of love, integrity, faith and excellence.

Bob Jones University recently named several students to the 2016 Concert Choir.

Stephen Grider was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins men's soccer team on Saturday, Oct. 22. Grider scored one goal and had one assist in the Bruins 3-1 homecoming victory over Columbia International University.

Natasha Walters was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's soccer team on Saturday, Oct. 22. Walters scored two goals in the homecoming match, including the overtime winner, as the Lady Bruins defeated Spartanburg Methodist College 3-2.

Jessie Heath was named the PlanFIRST Runner of the Meet for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's cross country team on Saturday, Oct. 22. Heath had a personal best at the Sand Shark Invitational in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Ben Douthit was named the PlanFIRST Runner of the Meet for the Bob Jones University Bruins men's cross country team on Saturday, Oct. 22. Douthit broke the freshman 8K record with a solid performance at the Sand Shark Invitational in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Micah Rea, a senior business administration major at Bob Jones University, has been selected to participate in the National Student Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C. Oct. 21-23.

Jenny Townsend was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's soccer team in their match against St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, North Carolina on Thursday, Oct. 20. Townsend played a great defensive match as the Bruins fell 2-0 to St. Andrews.

Kendra Jeffcott was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's volleyball team in their homecoming match against John Wesley University Lions on Thursday, Oct. 20. Jeffcott had 22 kills as the Bruins defeated John Wesley University 3-2 (25-16, 25-15, 29-31, 23-25, 15-8).

Alexandria Mott, a junior business administration major at Bob Jones University, is serving this semester as an intern for Merrill Lynch in Greenville, South Carolina.

Travis Fellmeth, a senior interior design major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern with Marian McCreight Interiors in Greenville, South Carolina.

Marjorie Elliott was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's volleyball team in their match against Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina on Tuesday, Oct. 18. Elliott came into the final set and had a solid performance with 8 digs, 3 kills, and 3 aces as the Bruins swept Morris College 3-0 (25-5, 25-14, 25-13).

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) named Kendra Jeffcott of the Bob Jones University Bruins women's volleyball team as a national student-athlete of the week for her accomplishments this past week. This is the first time Jeffcott and the women's volleyball team have received the award this year.

Dani Payne was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's volleyball team on Friday, Oct. 14. Payne had nine kills in the Bruins 3-0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-5) victory over Piedmont International University.

Kelcy Goodrich, a senior communication major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for the South Carolina Department of Social Services.

Rachel Tubbs was the PlanFIRST Player of the Day for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's volleyball team on Thursday, Oct. 13.
