Rachel Tubbs was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Day for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's volleyball team on Saturday, Nov. 5. Tubbs had over 80 assists on the day as the Bruins defeated Toccoa Falls College (3-0) and Pensacola Christian College (3-1) to clinch the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) South Region Title.

Josh Harm was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins men's soccer team on Saturday, Nov. 5. Harm led the team well as the Bruins fell to the Georgia Gwinnett College Grizzlies 5-0.

Sha'Ron Brunson was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's basketball team on Saturday, Nov. 5. Brunson had 13 points as the Bruins defeated the Johnson University-Tennessee Royals 69-51.

Amber Smith was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Day for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's volleyball team on Friday, Nov. 4. She had great defense and serve receive as the Bruins beat both the Johnson University-Florida Suns (3-0) and the Pensacola Christian College Eagles (3-0).

Haertlein had seven saves to earn a shutout in the Bruins 1-0 victory over the CIU Rams.

William Peek, a senior business administration major at Bob Jones University, was awarded the prestigious Chad M. Beatty Award during the South Carolina Student Legislature (SCSL) fall session in Columbia, South Carolina, Oct. 26-28.
