Sha'Ron Brunson was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's basketball team on Saturday, Feb. 4.

Mandy Bates was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's basketball team on Friday evening. Bates had 11 rebounds as the Lady Bruins fell to Trinity College 68-67.

Hannah Tompkins was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's basketball team on Friday, Jan. 20. Tompkins scored 14 points as the Bruins beat the Pensacola Christian College Eagles 51-45.

Nate Ellenwood was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins men's basketball team on Tuesday, Jan. 17. The freshman guard had a great overall game with 10 rebounds, seven assists and six points on the night to help the team defeat Piedmont International University 84-72 for their third straight win.

Rachel Clark was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's basketball team on Tuesday, Jan. 17. The freshman guard scored 19 points and recorded six steals as the Lady Bruins defeated Piedmont International University 83-23.

Jayson Barnhart was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins men's basketball team on Saturday, Jan. 14. Barnhart had 21 points and six rebounds as the Bruins defeated Warren Wilson College 87-74.

Dustin Killough was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins men's basketball team on Thursday, Jan. 12. The guard scored 19 points, including 15 first half points, to fuel the Bruins to a 99-82 road win over Toccoa Falls College.

Kylee Leffew was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruin's women's basketball team on Thursday, Jan. 12. The forward scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds as the Lady Bruins remained undefeated in region play with a 72-37 road win over Toccoa Falls College.

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) selected Bob Jones University Bruins women's basketball guard Sha'Ron Brunson as national student-athlete of the week. Brunson was selected for her play in two games for the Bruins this past week.

The following students are among approximately 900 Bob Jones University students named to the Dean's List for academic achievement during the Fall 2016 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average during the semester.
