Daniel Minnick, a resident of Cardwell, Australia and a 2013 graduate of Bob Jones University, recently received an Honorable Mention in the Australian Concerto and Vocal Competition, a national competition open to international competitors.

Ethan Simpson, a 2013 Bob Jones University graduate from Blue Springs, Mo., received third place in the 2013 Hal Leonard Vocal Competition. The competition, the only event of its kind for singers up to the ages of 23, is held through YouTube video entries. Ethan competed in the Art Song category for College/University Voices (undergraduates), ages 18-23, and received a cash prize.
