Sarah Thomsen was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game for the Bob Jones University Bruins women's basketball team Monday, Jan. 8.
Thomsen finished with 17 points as the Lady Bruins defeated Piedmont International University 79-67.
Thomsen is a junior sports management major from Matthews.
