Ryan Bell Interns with Travelers Rest Police Department

Ryan Bell, a senior criminal justice major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern this semester with the Travelers Rest Police Department.

Bell, a resident of Lumberport, is gaining experience by working alongside Travelers Rest police officers. His responsibilities include shadowing officers on patrol, writing and processing tickets, and recording and organizing arrest information.

"This internship has greatly increased my understanding of the value police officers bring to their communities," says Bell. "I have definitely grown in my appreciation for these officers as a result of my internship. It has been phenomenal to see their care and concern for the communities they work with."
