Nathaniel Adcock Serves as Intern for VBS Physical Therapy

Nathaniel Adcock, a senior exercise science major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for VBS Physical Therapy clinics located in Taylors and Mauldin, South Carolina.

Adcock, a resident of La Salle, assists physical therapists by maintaining equipment, greeting patients, and other various tasks given by the physical therapist. Adcock also spends time observing and learning from the physical therapists about injuries, techniques, exercises, and the profession in general.

"I have gained the most from learning about the interaction and communication between a physical therapist and the patient," says Adcock. "I have learned so much about the importance of being personable and compassionate and how that plays a great part in helping a patient recover from their injury."
