Melody Wright Interns with Community Journals

Melody Wright, a senior journalism and mass communication major at Bob Jones University, serves as an editorial intern with Community Journals in Greenville.

Wright, a resident of Laurens, writes spot news and feature pieces for daily digital and weekly print publications, conducts research for stories, and assists editors with copy editing and the digital content manager with data entry.

"Interning with Community Journals gives me an avenue to put the skills I've learned in class to practice in the real world of journalism," said Wright. "I have the opportunity to publish to an audience and work with experienced journalists. I look forward to the career opportunities my internship will make available to me in the future."
