Matthew Moore Named to NCCAA All-Region Team

Matthew Moore, a senior nursing major from Greenville, was named by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) to the All-Region 1st team honors for his efforts on the soccer field for the Bob Jones University Bruins.

"Matt has been a major part of our success offensively since the start of the program," said Bruins men's soccer coach Jesse McCormick. "I am excited to see our players rewarded for their hard work and effort throughout the year. Each player is well deserving and I believe they have reflected Christ well both on and off the field this past season."

In addition to the four individual awards, the BJU Bruins won the sportsmanship award for the south region. This is awarded to the team with the fewest cautions and red cards throughout the season.

The BJU Bruins compete as a Division I member of the NCCAA.
