Margaret Stegall Attends Student Leadership Forum Led by Senator Tim Scott

Margaret Stegall, a resident of Greenville, was one of five BJU students selected by the staff of Bob Jones University's Center for Leadership Development to attend a student leadership forum led by U.S. Senator Tim Scott at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Greenville.

Senator Tim Scott addressed student leaders representing schools from all across South Carolina, including Furman University, Clemson University, The Citadel, Charleston Southern University, Columbia International University, North Greenville University and others.

Scott discussed the leadership style of Jesus and spoke openly about his Christian faith and how it governs the decisions he makes as a politician. Senator Scott also talked about how a serious life event changed his life. "[Senator Scott's] passion and faith are truly inspiring, and it was interesting to hear his take on leadership from the perspective of Jesus of Nazareth and his leading through the example of love," said Rachel Madeira, a junior Cinema Production major from Dallas, Pennsylvania.
