Kyle Turner Scores 1,000th Career Point

Bob Jones University Bruins men's basketball team co-captain Kyle Turner became the first BJU Bruin to score 1,000 career points in school history. Turner's milestone came during the Bruins 86-72 road win over Piedmont International University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina Fri., Feb. 20.

Turner led the Bruins in scoring during the game with 25 points. Five other Bruins players scored in double figures for the game.

Turner is a junior accounting major from Alpharetta, Georgia.

This season marks the third season that BJU has competed in intercollegiate athletics as a Division I university in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
