Kyle Turner Named to NCCAA All-Region Team

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) named Bob Jones University Bruins forward Kyle Turner to the NCCAA DI South All-Region team for the second straight season.

Turner, a senior accounting major from Alpharetta, averaged 12.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in his final season with the program. Turner is the first Bruin to score over 1,000 points in his career as he finishes his career as the all-time leading scorer in program history. Turner's best game of the season came in a dominant 34 point performance on senior night as the captain powered the Bruins to a 102-84 victory over College of Faith.

"Kyle has continued to be consistent," Coach Ring said. "Having made All-Region last year, he continued to put forth the effort needed to be recognized by other coaches in the region. Kyle has been a leader on and off the court for us and we're going to miss having him as part of our team in the future."

The team finished the season at 15-16 and lost in the semi-final round of the region playoffs.
