Kendra Jeffcott Scores 1,000th Career Point

Bob Jones University Bruins women's basketball guard Kendra Jeffcott became the first BJU Lady Bruin to score 1,000 career points in school history. Jeffcott's milestone came during the Bruins 53-50 home win over Southern Wesleyan University on Sat., Feb. 28.

Jeffcott led the Bruins in scoring during the game with 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Two other Bruins players scored in double figures for the game.

Turner is a junior accounting major from Wilton.

This season marks the third season that BJU has competed in intercollegiate athletics as a Division I university in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
