Kendra Jeffcott Named to Scholar-Athlete Team

Bob Jones University Bruins women's basketball guard Kendra Jeffcott, a senior accounting major from Taylors, has been named to the to the National Christian College Athletics Association's (NCCAA) scholar-athlete team. Each scholar-athlete recognized by the NCCAA is a junior or senior who maintains a GPA of at least 3.5.

"It's a privilege to work with young ladies who recognize that life isn't about them or their abilities in one area," women's head basketball Coach Mike LeViere said. "Our athletes are all concerned with their academics and Kendra was recognized because of her excellence on the court as well as in the classroom. She is very typical of our team as they work hard and are and involved in many different things. We appreciate the NCCAA's recognition of her accomplishments."

The women's basketball team finished with a 19-11 record and fell short in the NCCAA DI region playoffs with an overtime loss to Point University in the semi-final round.
