Karis Sutherland Serves as Academic Resource Center Study Group Leader

Karis Sutherland of Greenville served as a study group leader in the Academic Resource Center (ARC) at Bob Jones University for Principles of Accounting I for the 2017 spring semester. Sutherland is a junior accounting major at BJU.

The Academic Resource Center at BJU helps students build academic confidence and excel in college. The study group leaders use their skills to minister to other students who may be struggling or need additional help in specific subjects.

"These study group leaders are remarkable students who invest time in fellow students to help them succeed," said Teresa Smith, supervisor for supplemental resources in the ARC.

Study group leaders are student volunteers. The assistance they provide to their fellow students is invaluable and appreciated by the faculty and fellow students.
