Kara Estelle Serves as Academic Resource Center Study Group Leader

2016 May 2

Kara Estelle of Stamford serves as a study group leader in the Academic Resource Center (ARC) at Bob Jones University for human anatomy & physiology. Estelle, a resident of [Hometown], is a sophomore health sciences major at BJU.

The Academic Resource Center at BJU helps students build academic confidence and excel in college. The study group leaders use their skills to minister to other students who may be struggling or just need additional help in specific subjects.

"Study group leaders serve as an extra touchpoint outside of the classroom for students who may need reinforcement in a particular subject," said Teresa Smith, Supplemental Resource Supervisor with the ARC. "Our goal is to provide students with all the tools they need to succeed, and these study groups make a big difference in student success."

Study group leaders are student volunteers. The assistance they provide to their fellow students is invaluable and appreciated by the faculty and fellow students.
