Kaitlyn Unruh to Serve as Intern for the Greenville Road Warriors

Kaitlyn Unruh, a senior journalism and mass communication major, will serve as an intern for the Greenville Road Warriors, a professional hockey team.

Unruh, a resident of Greenville, will intern during the semester which runs through mid-April. Her responsibilities include updating the Instagram and Snapchat accounts for the Road Warriors during the games and sorting through game footage as well as logging and organizing goals and fights that happen during the game when she is in the office.

The Greenville Road Warriors compete in the East Coast division of the Eastern Conference of the ECHL (East Coast Hockey League). They are affiliated with the New York Rangers in the NHL and the Hartford Woflpack in the AHL.

"This is a great opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes of a professional sports team," Unruh said. "I have really enjoyed getting to interact with fans and players at the games as well as work with the Road Warrior staff in the office."
