Justin Matthews Earns NCCAA All-Region Honors

Bob Jones University Bruins basketball guard Justin Matthews was named by the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) to First Team All-Region for the South region.

In addition to this milestone, Matthews is just 10 points away from becoming the fourth player in Bruins history to score 1,000 points.

"Justin is never satisfied with his career," Coach Uwarow said. "He is pushing himself to do something we've never done as a team in winning a national championship."

Over the course of the season, Matthews has averaged 15.1 points per game while shooting 45% from the field. He is 2nd on the team in steals and leads the team in blocks on the season with 21.

Matthews, a resident of Loganville, is a senior accounting major at BJU.
