Juan Alvarado Serves as Intern for Varigence Inc.

Juan Alvarado, a junior information technology major at Bob Jones University, is serving this semester as an intern for Varigence Inc. located in Greenville, South Carolina.

Alvarado, a resident of North Charleston, is serving as the operations assistant and is working on a back end console application for debugging software.

"My internship is amazing because it allows me to gain in house experience in my field doing real world work," says Alvarado. "BJU has given me the opportunity to gain basic knowledge of what IT is and now my internship is giving me insight into what I will do in my career."
