Josh Harm Named NCCAA All-Region

2016 Oct 31

The National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has named Bob Jones University Bruins soccer player Josh Harm and four other Bruins players to their DII All-Region teams. The players were selected based on their performance throughout the season, with the final first and second team selections being voted on by head coaches in the South Region.

"We are very blessed to have a great group of players that God has directed to BJU," Bruins men's soccer Head Coach Jesse McCormick said. "These players certainly deserve recognition as well as every player on the roster that has contributed to our team this year."

Harm, a resident of Cincinnati, was chosen as a first team All-Region player. Harm served as one of the captains on the team this year and helped to anchor the Bruins defensive line.

"Josh has seen more time on the field than any of our players and has been a big part of our success this season," Coach McCormick said.

The Bruins came up just short in the NCCAA DII South Region Championship, falling 2-1 in overtime to Trinity Baptist College. The team will await the news as to whether or not they won the at-large bid to compete in the National Tournament beginning November 15 in Florida.
