Josh Harm Earns All-American Honors

2016 Nov 28

Bob Jones University Bruins men's soccer player Josh Harm was given All-American honors by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Harm was named first-team All-American and was chosen by the NSCAA and NCCAA for his play in the 2016 season.

Harm, a resident of Cincinnati, served as a captain for the Bruins this season while anchoring the team's defensive line. The senior helped the Bruins defense hold their opponents to zero goals in the NCCAA DII National Tournament as the Bruins captured their first-ever national championship.

"Josh was a vocal presence on the field as a senior captain and played a majority of minutes in almost all of our games this season," Bruins Head Coach Jesse McCormick said. "His leadership was clearly evident in our post-season play as well."

The Bruins finished the 2016 season with a 9-10-1 record, but the team found their groove at the right time as they defeated North Central University 2-0 to capture their first NCCAA DII National Title.
