Jermaine Reina Perez Places First in iNRB Public Relations 24-hour Challenge

Jermaine Reina Perez of Greenville was one of four Bob Jones University students awarded first place in the iNRB Public Relations 24-hour Challenge. The challenge took place in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Gaylord Opryland where the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Convention was held.

Students researched and wrote a public relations campaign for a company within 24 hours. Teams were limited to four members and all members must be iNRB or NRB members.

The campaign was judged based on a one-page general overview of the campaign, measurable objectives, research, planning by clearly outlining the theme with messaging throughout the campaign, as well as strategies and tactics, identifying the budget and expenses by a timeline, and an evaluation plan to measure the success of the objectives and overall campaign. The campaign could even include appendices. The campaign could be no longer than 10 pages long. The appendices could be no longer than five pages long and was not included in the original 10 pages.

The 24-hour Public Relations Challenge was new to the competition this year. The company featured in the campaign this year was Well2Win.

Well2Win is a startup company with a goal of addressing unhealthy lifestyle choices in America and providing a solution towards a healthier lifestyle.
