Jeremy Teruel Serves as Intern for Greenville Memorial Hospital

Jeremy Teruel, a senior biology major at Bob Jones University, serves as an intern for Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.

Teruel, a Greenville resident, interns in the oncology department, where he works with research articles, data collection and analyzation, and observes a variety of surgical procedures.

"It's an incredible opportunity to conduct clinical research at a teaching hospital alongside medical professionals," says Teruel. "Additionally, I will be immersed in medical observations to give me plenty of experience in many different sectors of medicine. I am thrilled to be getting exposure in the teaching hospital that shares a campus with a medical school I hope to one day attend."
