Isaac Stephens Served as Orientation Leader

2016 Jun 1

Isaac Stephens of Greenville, a student majoring in Cross-Cultural Service, served as an orientation leader at Bob Jones University during the summer of 2015.

Orientation leaders are upperclassmen that are paired with faculty and administrators to connect with students at summer orientation, an event hosted for incoming freshmen and new students before the start of the fall semester. Orientation leaders connect with these students through presentations at workshops, recreational activities and more. These student leaders gain valuable leadership skills, develop working relationships with faculty and administrators, and enhance their resume while giving back to the university community.

"I am thankful for these students and their commitment to serve and lead their peers," says Rebecca Weier, BJU Director of Student Engagement. "Their example both academically and spiritually will benefit the new students as they make a successful transition to college."
