Dawn Mellinger Places Third in iNRB Digital Audio 24-hour Challenge

2015 Mar 20

Dawn Mellinger of Denver was one of three Bob Jones University students awarded third place in the iNRB Digital Audio 24-hour Challenge. The challenge took place in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Gaylord Opryland where the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Convention was held.

Students wrote, recorded and edited 2-3 minute audio productions within 24 hours. The teams were limited to three team members and all members of the team must be iNRB or NRB members. The production is judged based on voice talent, editing technique, the use of the theme and professional quality.

This year's challenge was to create an original radio/audio campaign for Well2Win. Students were expected to produce a 30-second non-commercial production, a minute-long commercial production and another minute-long production with a "special" twist revealed at the kick-off of the challenge. The production must be downloaded into a USB flash drive and turned in before the 24 hour deadline.

INRB is committed to promoting excellence, integrity and networking opportunities in media. The iNRB seeks to provide a forum where members can network together to share ideas and goals.
