Anna Daulton Named NCCAA DII Player of the Week

Bob Jones University Bruins forward Anna Daulton was named National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division Two Player of the Week last week.

Daulton, a freshman from Greenville, majors in Exercise Science at BJU.

"Anna has made the best of her opportunities," BJU Bruins women's soccer coach Chris Carmichael said. "She has done a great job finishing and finding the back of the net. She has been continually dangerous for us all season and quickly ignited our attacks with support from our midfielders. It's a well-deserved recognition."

Daulton leads the team with six goals in her first season of competition with the Bruins. She helped secure a 4-0 victory over Chowan University last weekend by scoring the 3rd and 4th goals of the match. Although coming off the bench, Daulton has been an energetic spark in fueling a high-powered Bruins offensive attack. The team is 6-2-1 on the season.
