Andrew Fox Named to All-Region Team

The National Christian College Athletic Association named Andrew Fox, a runner on the Bob Jones University Bruins cross country team, to the All-Region team. Runners qualify for the honor based on their finish at the South Region Tournament meet which was hosted at BJU on Saturday, Oct. 28.

"We had an excellent showing at our region meet," Bruins Head Coach Landon Bright said. "Andrew has been working hard all season and it is great to see him get recognized by the NCCAA. Each All-Region runner had their best race of the season that day and most even had lifetime bests, which is great to see at an important meet."

Fox, a resident of Taylors, earned 2nd Team All-Region and finished with a top-15 time as the Bruins placed 2nd overall in the meet out of six teams competing.

The cross country team will finish the 2017 season on Saturday as thr team competes in the NCCAA DII National Championship Meet in Jackson, Mississippi.
