Andrew Budgick Wins Award from South Carolina Press Association

Andrew Budgick, a junior majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication at Bob Jones University and a member of the student newspaper staff, was awarded first place - news story during the recent South Carolina Press Association Collegiate meeting held on the BJU campus. Budgick is a resident of Tucson.

The Collegian, BJU's student newspaper, was honored in its division with 15 awards: three first place awards, four second place awards, six third place awards and two honorable mentions.

The Collegian placed third in the overall category of General Excellence among colleges and universities with under 5,000 students in South Carolina. Additionally, The Collegian staff was awarded third place for The Collegian website.
