Andrew Budgick Receives SCPA Award

Andrew Budgick, a senior journalism and mass communication major at Bob Jones University, was recently awarded third place for the Column Writer Portfolio category by the South Carolina Press Association (SCPA) in its Collegiate Annual News Contest.

Budgick, a resident of Tucson, received this award for his columns published in BJU's weekly student newspaper, The Collegian.

The SCPA Collegiate News Contest recognizes the best in South Carolina collegiate journalism. Collegiate staff members compete against other colleges and universities in 26 different contests, including writing, design, photography, and illustration.
