Alicia Bachorik Successfully Auditions into the BJU Chorale

2013 Oct 25

Alicia Bachorik of Taylors successfully auditioned into the Chorale, the premier concert and repertoire choir at Bob Jones University.

Bachorik is a junior pursuing a BMus in Piano Pedagogy.

The 50-voice choir, comprised of both undergraduate and graduate students from many of the university's majors, performs on campus in full-length choral concerts and oratorio and opera productions. The Chorale also tours regularly, performing community concerts, conducting school music festivals, and singing in churches and schools.

The Chorale has appeared as the U.S. representative at the World Choral Festival in Seoul Korea, and most recently was a featured performing choir at the American Choral Directors Association Southern Division Convention. They will be presenting a community concert in Colonial Williamsburg's Bruton Parish Church, Sat., Nov. 2.

Dr. Warren Cook conducts the Chorale. He studied at BJU and Westminster Choir College and received his DMA from the University of South Carolina. In addition to his responsibilities at BJU, Dr. Cook serves as pastor of worship at Heritage Bible Church and as founder and director of Greenville's Rivertree Singers.
